D’oh!

As I’ve posted, the last 2.5 weeks have been kind of crazy for me.  Headed to NJ, then to Atlanta, back to NJ, spent time in Manhattan, drove to Florida, back to PA.  Had a wedding in there too.

I was also so good about taking pictures to remember this trip, and took some great pictures when I got home of all of the wonderful packages waiting for me!  I even got a cute video of Rufio enjoying some of the treats he was sent.

The only problem…I left my camera cord in NJ!!! I have all of these great photos and videos, and no way to put them on the computer!  I have to wait a few days after my parents send it, and then I will be posting like a champ.

In the meantime, I may post just some random thoughts I have going on.  I was thinking a lot about what Leah wrote about blogging because you want to, about what you want.  I have always said I will not post my food and workouts, because it’s just not for me.  I do think of this more as my very public journal.  I write about what I did, who was there, the fun I had.  I know some people just want to come to a blog for food ideas and food pictures, and I’m sorry, but this is not the place for that!  I am putting myself out there in the blogosphere and the world, and that means ALL OF ME.  I enjoy posting about my struggles, my success, my failures, my fun, my family, my friends, my food, and anything else that strikes a cord with me.  For those who read and comment on my blog regularly, thank you!

With that being said, I am trying to get my act together now that we are back.  I’m stuck waiting for the cable guy to show since we had a power outage while we were gone, and lost all of our recorded shows :(.  Big bummer since neither of us really had time to watch anything the last few weeks.

Also, I want a little advice.  We got 3 new books, and I don’t know which to read first! Have you read any of these?  What do you think is the best?  What other books do you recommend?

Juliet, Naked by Nick Hornby

As for the camera — can’t you just insert the memory card in your computer? :/
