Rebellion

I have had the most wonderful, amazing weekend!  This is just a quick little bonjour post, and I’ll share more in a day or so!

I had quite a full house this weekend, and boy, hosting is exhausting!  We all had fun though.  We also had a blast at Pete and Lindsey’s wedding!  They are such a wonderful and fun couple, and I’m so glad Pete has brought Lindsey into our little “2A” family.  It was a beautiful night!  Look at the name of our table:

During the cocktail hour, my friend Becca asked me to hold her beer!  I felt kind of sketchy.  Oh, Becca moved to London for work today for 3 months, crazy!  So jealous, she is going to have such a blast.  I’m really disappointed I can’t go visit 😦

No beer for me, but I settled on an Arnold Palmer.  They had a cute little table with lemonade and iced tea in beautiful glass jars.  I love drinking out of a mason jar!

Somehow I didn’t get a picture with the bride and groom, but I did get this silly one with my friends.  From left to right it’s Eric, Becca, Pete and I.  Becca and I were freshman roommates, and so were Eric and Pete, and they lived across the hall from us.  We have all stayed close ever since.  We lived on Shapiro 2A, so Eric and I are representing!

 
Finally, this afternoon I had the most wonderful baby shower!  I have some of the most incredible family and friends anyone could imagine.  Solomon and I are so loved, and this baby is already so loved.  Plus, he is going to be incredibly stylish!

I have some pics on my camera, but there are many more, so so once my friends get them posted, I’ll share a lot!  Something I did have to share (OK, brag about!) is a gift from my parents.  They wanted to get Solomon and I something for US.  I present you with…JAMES DEAN, our Rebel!

We can’t wait to learn how to use this rebel, with a wonderful cause!

So HUGE thank you to Marlene for hosting, and my mom, Robin and Deborah for helping to make my shower phenomenal.  I hope to post some pictures in the next day or so, but I think that will be a long post!  It had a rubber ducky theme (of course), and everything was truly perfect!

Also, thank you to all of my friends and family who love this little boy, and made it THE MOST WONDERFUL day ever!

Finally, because this little short post just keeps going, thank you for your insights into my post from Friday and letting fate take charge with your life.  Sometimes, life takes you where you don’t expect it, and that’s OK!  Embrace the unknown 🙂
